Our First Drive Was A Success
So here's what happened at the February Sanitary Drive
Our first ever Sanitary Drive took place on the 11th of February at the Smokey Bones restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos and it was a success! Many thanks to everyone who came out to support - in all, we received over 100 packs of Sanitary pads, several cartons of soap, detergent, wipes, disinfectant etc. So here are a few images from the drive
On Wednesday the 15th of February, we paid a visit to Gaskiya High School, Ijora (Lagos) where we able to educate over 900 girls present on feminine hygiene as well as give out sanitary pads to 540 girls.
This was a big milestone for our campaign and we are working hard to reach several more girls in public schools and IDP camps over the coming weeks. Here are a few shots from the day, more images can be found on our twitter page and soon enough on our official website when live.
Donations are still being accepted, if you would like to send in sanitary products or items of clothing, please send us an email and we'd send you details of a convenient drop-off location.
Keep an eye out for more updates from the team and don't forget the next drive will be in March. If you have any questions regarding the campaign, please send an email across and we'll be happy to provide any information needed.
Love,
The S.A.N.G Team
